Our Story

The Creamery was born in 2010 when a mother–daughter duo, Brenda and Mindy, decided to turn a dream into reality. What started as a small family venture was fueled by a simple passion: to share their family recipes with the community.  As word spread, the restaurant grew from one cozy dining room to two, then three. With each step forward, the menu grew as well—bringing in homemade ice cream, fresh-baked goods, hearty soups, and the kind of comfort food that Pennsylvania families have been enjoying for generations. In recent years, the family took their dream even further by introducing farm-to-cone ice cream. Partnering with our friends at Mapes Farm Fresh, we use their high-quality milk to create ice cream that is churned right here in-house. Each batch is carefully crafted with imaginative, one-of-a-kind flavors you won’t find anywhere else. From our family kitchen to your table, the Creamery is all about tradition, quality, and community—sharing food that brings people together and makes every visit feel like home.
